The objective of the consensus process was to offer recommendations for collegiate athletic departments and military service academy leaders about how to increase concussion symptom disclosure in their setting. The expert panel agreed on 17 recommendations in five domains: “(1) content of concussion education for athletes and military service academy cadets, (2) dissemination and implementation of concussion education for athletes and military service academy cadets, (3) other stakeholder concussion education, (4) team and unit-level processes and (5) organisational processes.” The recommendations are offered in a table for quick reference. Each domain has its own section within the paper.
My name is Barry Zaritzky I am a retired certified license athletic trainer….my 33 years as ATC was in action sports..I was Tony Hawks friend and trainer …during that time the concussion was my major concern,,,I even got to chair the ASTM helmet standard committee..for skateboarding/snowboarding..it is a multiple impact standard..along my career..I developed a Acute protocol to help my athletes/friend ..I try for 14 years at athletic trainers conventions to have the powers to be ..to listens…but I got no where…I am willing to try again if your group is SERIOUSLY interest.
