An international medical panel and allied health care panel as well as a patient and public panel developed a core outcome set “for patients undergoing rib fracture fixation following blunt chest trauma that could be used in clinical trials to assess effectiveness of interventions”. The recommended set of outcomes has 23 outcomes, including 8 for adverse events.
