This document reviews 1) the evaluation of the esports athlete, 2) conditions common and unique to these athletes, 3) diagnostics used in the evaluation of esports athletes, 4) treatment options for conditions common and unique to esports, and 5) prevention of injuries in esports. The authors also “introduce a framework for the future development of esports medicine that can be introduced into the daily practice of the sports medicine physician.”
