The American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM) has released have a new position statement regarding attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and athletes.
The position statement includes a directed review of the core issues related to the athlete with ADHD as well as 11 position and recommendations of the “AMSSM in respect of the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of athletes with ADHD.
