Cheung RT, Chung RC, Ng GY. Br J Sports Med. 2011 Jul;45(9):743-51.
This meta-analysis identified 29 articles and assessed the efficacy of foot orthoses, motion-control footwear, and therapeutic adhesive taping in controlling foot pronation relative to no interventions. All three interventions were effective. Among the taping methods Low-dye taping was less effective than other techniques (e.g., high-dye, stirrups taping).
