The authors used a modified Delphi process with the Cervical Spine Research Society and NFL team physicians to create actionable statements and establish updated return-to-play recommendations for providers caring for collision athletes with cervical spine injuries. The article is accompanied by a freely available graphical abstract (see link above). From an initial 13 recommendations, 8 statements had a strong consensus.
