An international group of shoulder experts reached a consensus on what are the most appropriate assessment and management strategies of posterior shoulder instability. Furthermore, they agreed on a framework to manage 3 subgroups: 1) traumatic, 2) micro-traumatic, and 3) atraumatic posterior shoulder instability.
