An international and multidisciplinary group of clinicians, researchers, patients, public partners, journal editors, and funders created two documents regarding primary cam morphology and femoroacetabular impingement syndrome. The first paper offers definitions, terminology, taxonomy, and imaging outcome measures for research regarding primary cam deformity. The second paper discusses research priorities and educational events to engage stakeholders, share the latest evidence, and foster debate.
