The European Society of Cardiology released the 2023 guidelines for managing cardiomyopathies. Section 8.1 focuses on sports: 1) cardiovascular benefits of exercises, 2) exercise-related sudden death and historical exercise recommendations for patients with cardiomyopathy, 3) exercise recommendations in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, 4) exercise recommendations in arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy, and 5) exercise recommendations in dilated cardiomyopathy and non-dilated left ventricular cardiomyopathy.
