Radiology has released an updated consensus statement “to offer an expert
consensus on the clinical indications for musculoskeletal ultrasound updated to
2017 literature evidence”. The document reviews clinical indications for the
shoulder, elbow, hand/wrist, hip, knee, and ankle/foot. It also discusses the
indication of ultrasound elastography.
