An expert panel created a consensus statement to provide recommendations for post-COVID-19 rehabilitation among patients who are active, including military personnel and athletes. The goal was to optimize recovery and human performance. “This consensus statement was developed by an expert panel in the fields of rehabilitation, sport and exercise medicine (SEM), rheumatology, psychiatry, general practice, psychology and specialist pain, working at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre, Stanford Hall, UK.” The recommendations cover general rehabilitation as well as specific rehabilitation considerations for pulmonary, cardiac, psychological, musculoskeletal, neurological , and other medical concerns following COVID-19.
