The Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) and Japanese Orthopaedic Society of Knee, Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine (JOSKAS) endorsed clinical recommendations for the management of patients with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. The authors addressed 21 clinical questions and 23 background questions. Each question is posed in a box and has a concise answer. Each box is followed by additional information.
