Current trends in tendinopathy: consensus of the ESSKA basic science committee. Part II: treatment options.

The European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery, & Arthroscopy Basic Science Committee offered a consensus statement “to provide a comprehensive overview of the latest treatment options for tendinopathy”. Treatment options included platelet rich plasma, ultrasound guided galvanic electrolysis technique, mesenchymal stem cells, gene therapy, biomaterials, and surgical approaches.
