van der Horst N, Backx F, Goedhart EA, Huisstede BM; HIPS-Delphi Group. Br J Sports Med. 2017 Nov;51(22):1583-1591. doi: 10.1136/bjsports-2016-097206. Epub 2017 Mar 30.

A Delphia procedure was used to provide a clear return-to-play definition and medical criteria for return to play and to clarify return-to-play consultation and responsibilities after hamstring injury. The document also covers who should be consulted about return to play and take ultimate responsibility for the decision. The authors started with the results of a systematic review and 58 experts helped reach a consensus.
