The International Patellofemoral Osteoarthritis Consortium released a consensus statement on the status of knowledge in the field of patellofemoral osteoarthritis and a research
agenda to guide future research. The document covers several aspects of patellofemoral osteoarthritis: diagnosis and definition, burden, outcome measures, prognosis, risk factors, treatment, and future directions.
